PIXBOOM Cine Privacy Notice

This notice explains how PIXBOOM Cine handles data when you use the desktop application. It supplements the general Pixboom Privacy Policy and is intended to clarify product-specific behaviors.

1. Local File Access and Media Processing

PIXBOOM Cine is a desktop application for importing, previewing, processing, and exporting media files.

When you choose files or folders in the application, PIXBOOM Cine may access local media files and related output paths on your device in order to:

  • import and open selected media files
  • preview media content
  • process media content
  • export rendered or transcoded output files to locations you choose

Media files selected by you are processed for the purpose of providing the product’s core functionality.

2. User-Selected Access

PIXBOOM Cine only accesses files and folders that you explicitly select or authorize through the operating system or the application interface.

The application is not intended to scan unrelated files on your device outside the scope of user-selected content required for import, preview, processing, or export.

3. Local Processing

PIXBOOM Cine is designed primarily for local desktop processing.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated for a specific feature or service, media content selected in PIXBOOM Cine is processed locally on your device for preview, editing-related processing, and export workflows.

4. Diagnostic and Technical Information

PIXBOOM Cine may generate limited technical or diagnostic information necessary for application operation, troubleshooting, stability analysis, or support.

Such information may include, where applicable:

  • application version information
  • operating system version
  • device or hardware environment information
  • technical error messages
  • crash or diagnostic data
  • limited usage or runtime information related to application behavior

This information is used for product maintenance, support, debugging, security, and service improvement.

5. What This Notice Does Not Mean

This notice does not mean that PIXBOOM Cine collects or uploads all media files on your device.

PIXBOOM Cine is intended to work with files and folders that you choose to open, process, or export.

6. Third-Party Components

PIXBOOM Cine may include third-party software components necessary for application functionality, such as multimedia or UI frameworks. Relevant third-party notices and license materials may be provided with the application where applicable.

7. Relationship to the General Privacy Policy

This product notice should be read together with the general Pixboom Privacy Policy.

If there is any inconsistency between the general policy and the product-specific behavior described here, the product-specific description should be used to interpret how PIXBOOM Cine functions in practice, unless otherwise required by law.
